Imagine play the ground is lava Cops and robbers Tag Sand man Hide and seek. Has usual losing any these games means you die. His Shikai isn't broken, its a handicap, he can only use it if kyokatsu is "in the mood to play" and he doesnt get to decide what game is played, and he is just as vulnerable to the rules as the enemy, AND he has to explain the rules to the enemy. In this series, thats a MASSIVE handicap, he's just that powerful to overcome it lol.

More than likely, it would be a similar encounter to Bambi. But considering that Lillie was reliant on the intel, he probably would have adapted, considering how quickly he dodged Kyoraku's shadow blade. Kyoraku was always the best choice for a guy like Lillie because while both Lillie and Shinji have somewhat unfair abilities, Kyoraku always aims for an unfair advantage.

​@thanos4660 Well Shinji's shikai can be switched on an off so that the target cant adapt. Shinji can selectively apply the reversals as well. Bambi relied on AoE effect to ignore it but Lille is a sharp shooter through and through. Even if Lille opens his second Eye he still needs to aim and his a shot on shinji. All shinji needs to do is activate visor and Hit a cero To trigger lille to split into his mini bird form and then his bankai cleans up.
