I dunno where she learned to improvise and use such rhythmic sophistication at such a young age. These skills are rarer than just an outstanding voice. She phrases like a jazz vocalist. In a billion people you wouldn't find another at her age that can do this. Most singers never learn these skills even if they are great vocalists.

@@ed3245 Ooh. That would be hard. I can't timestamp but I will try to explain. You would need to do some homework tho. This song is called ,"It Hurts" by 2NE1. Listen to the original and listen to the melody and how the original group sang it. Then come back and listen to this again. You should be able to tell she is improvising or in layman's terms ad-libbing a lot of notes that the original group didn't use in their version. She is using completely different notes and doing it on the fly as her brain tells her to through experience and having recorded in her brain how other advanced singers have done so in various other songs. She definitely has parents that have exposed her to jazz because her note substitutions here come from that musical genre. JYP knows about all this stuff and I'm guessing that's why he is reacting like he is surprised. She has incredible grasp of music theory and she is using it with style, intellect and creativity that you rarely see in someone so young. She is also showing she has a strong sense of rhythm in the way she phrases the notes too. So yet another insane ability for one so young.
