My late Thai wife and I watched Lilly and her family consistently on KZbin. After my wife’s sudden passing from pancreatic cancer i went to Thailand to spread her ashes. I stopped in Koh Samui on the way. I visited Lilly’s restaurant. I saw Lilly’s mom, mentioned that my daughter and her husband lived in sandpoint, Idaho near their home. I was still grieving deeply and got very emotional. She hugged me and comforted me. It meant a lot to me.. it still does. i am grateful for her kindness at a very vulnerable moment. Thousands of us have invested our hearts in this family. Our nearly inconsolable grief for the loss of our spouse, parent or child is the price we pay the depth of our love. I recently came across your channel, and have been watching a few of your videos. I retired early and looking at living overseas while I'm still young. My parents were from Thailand, but are not Thai. I was born in Thailand, but came to the US when I was around a year old. I'm at a loss for words about your situation here. I lost my mom in April from kidney cancer which went to her lungs and you just expressed exactly how I feel! She passed when her family wasn't there and hospice sat with her when she passed. The lost is so great I loved your moms spirit she just had such a positive attitude. Her smile every blog from traveling business and end of life was so loving and encouraging.. We need family now and it really helps. Lily you are a wonderful daughter and you made your mom so proud carry on with your life and all the new adventures ahead. It’s a heartbreak to have to let go of that miracle of a healing. I’ve been there. But what choice is there but to go on. And a piece of her is in all of you. She will always be with you and love you as fiercely as always. And oh how she loves you. The pure delight on her face when she saw you after months apart.
