The Spencer Kim Lewis household is an eye-sore, but a you-tuber named Sahm_and-Bean mentioned that it would look nice as an Art Deco style, so I renovated it with that in mind. It does look much better. If you do that house, I'd recommend looking for a similar inspiration image online first.

I’d hate to see it turned into a more traditional house like I see so many creators do. I always took it as a more modern renovation of an old home but maybe not too recent so Art Deco makes perfect sense. I’m going to have to try that myself.

hey kayla, you mentioning looking at the screen is hurting your head made me think to suggest getting blue-light glasses. there's a lot of cute styles and it's probably a good idea to wear them since you work on the computer. I noticed mine help a lot :) hope you feel better soon

i checked out how the townies in my main game are doing today and here’s what they’re up to: •geoffrey landgraab is dead •he does have like 4 sons with nancy? •johnny zest has daughter??? •the spencer-kim-lewis’s moves into my sims old home (that has 2 bedrooms and there’s like 7 of them •the goths randomly moved out?? •andy christman adopted a child while being in a relationship with one of my sims not 1, but 2 times (the 2nd time the day before their wedding resulting in me having to move my sim out because they didn’t fit in my household) i have way more sim drama in my main sim family so if you want i can give you more lol

I love seeing how people approach renovations and refurbishments of base game houses. I wasn't prepared to upload it, but I love the mismatched refurb I did for this house in my main save; my idea was the house was something Bob inherited, and Eliza ended up having to move in suddenly early on in the relationship; Bob had done nothing to the old house,and Eliza is determined to modernise it, so the whole thing clashes terribly, but it tells that story.

I really like what you did with their house! Great job! My only extra wish would have been an extra room for their son Iggy (and I wish they would update the base game to make him part of the Pancake household by default because I keep forgetting about him myself too! 😅). But that would have added an extra challenge to this and I think with you being sick, you already did an outstanding job! If you plan on doing more townies home renovations, I'd love to see you work on the Roomies house. I never play with them but a freshly renovated house might do the trick 😉 My second choice would be the Behr household, I always fix up their house if I want to play in that family 😛

Most houses in NZ have the toilet in a separate room with a window over the toilet for ventilation. I tend to build similar bathrooms in the sims so they don't complain about other people coming in while using the toilet or shower.
