@allayahsimmons9019 Жыл бұрын
Not even microwaved, they just have gotten a fresh hot dog right from the stand
@Mrmongoose64 Жыл бұрын
I suppose one of the issues of that is that a microwave changes the consistency of certain foods. With a sausage roll, for example, the pastry would lose its crispiness.

love these, they sooometimes seem a little rigged. like "what's better, England's favorite version of this, or other country's cheap or incorrect version of an unpopular thing?" you can't even get a hot dog outside your home in 95% of the country, they only sell them at department stores and venues where they can make you buy them at gunpoint. also mustard not ketchup. ❤ the channel, I'll watch all through gritted teeth
@SupergirlUK Жыл бұрын
Honestly, a Greggs sausage roll, is kinda the same as a hotdog. It's cheap (they used to be 85p back in the day which was partly what got them so popular) and will do at the right occasion. But its not something I would eat all the time. I know some people are OBSESSED with them, chart songs and everything, but it's dry pastry and cheap meat (if you can even call it meat). You can get better sausage rolls else where. If they'd put up a proper Cornish Pasty against a hotdogs, then I'd agree and say its an unfair comparison.
@Stuie299 Жыл бұрын
@@SupergirlUK It's not so much that comparing a sausage roll to a hot dog doesn't make sense. It's more that the quality of that hot dog looked terrible in comparison to the sausage roll. Also that in a lot of places it's hard to find a good hot dog other than your house (usually only at a BBQ/Cookout) or a sporting event.
@laffingist218 Жыл бұрын
@Supergirl UK1818 ha that's really interesting. yeah i eat enough crap food that i assumed people in videos were talking them up. just coz it's this video I'll also call out the cereal battle; closest thing we have that another country might not have is grits, which are good, lucky charms is like the first cereal you eat as a kid coz the sugar tricks you into wanting breakfast. i get it tho, i see that lucky charms is available in English "American food" sections? and i don't assume English people are all wolfing down pre-made porridge. but sometimes the comparisons are hilariously uneven. goes both ways I'm sure. and again, ketchup only on a hot dog means you're weird. maybe the mustard was hiding tho
