I loved her voice acting as Ada Wong. I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil franchise and I absolutely loved her Ada performance

It's not bad... if your used to and looking for the fem fatale trope then she doesn't fit the bill. All other voice actresses are trying to purposely be sexy. The overall tone of the remake is more serious than B movie goofy so it makes sense. This Ada sounds more criptic than sexy because she is not trying to be. It sounds like a person with a job who just happens to be sexy and thats fine. I liked the interpretation but I have to say it was an acquired taste and Yes somes lines sounded off. separate ways shows a lot more range I would say.

I highly disagree. If you've followed her on social media you would know she is one of those people who is very openly racist towards white people and thinks whites are the scum of the earth and that white people are everything thats wrong with the world, and thinks they are privileged and ignorant to their privilege. She loves to play the victim because she is a "minority" and im sure she loves that she is being "bullied" because it lets her better play her favorite role as a victim, primarily a victim of white people somehow because she hates them so much. But based on her liberal victim mentality she is not racist because its impossible to be racist towards white people.

Nice sarcasm. If she put as much emotion into the game role as she did with this interview, she probably wouldn't have gotten so many comments regarding her flat performance.

she was super unfriendly to me she was the only cast member who didnt sign my merchandise everyone else did and was so was kind, I even offered her 1000 bucks to charity @@atFanta

Tbh I like her voice in re4 remake and in terms of tone that is perfect as well more like a natural asian person. Og sounds like ai generated voice.

Unpopular opinion, but I agree. Not that dramatic as in previous RE's, but certainly more lifelike. A mercenary like Ada would certainly have a lowkey dark voice like Gao's

I think she did a good job on ada. But shes wrong to call her critics sexist/racist (they are fans of a strong asian female character, so racist/sexist would be untrue). She didnt deserve hate, if anyone did its the devs. Direct the hate at them if you think their product is subpar

Nah. I’m sorry but, respectfully, some people are just so bad that the voice directors kind of have no choice but to go with whatever voice lines they think work best

I'd say she nailed about 30% of her lines, (like they were really good deliveries) 60% were decent enough, but that 10% that just come off particularly bad... And I don't even blame her entirely. That 30% shows she's clearly a good actor. But idk if it was the directing, or they just chose some of her particularly bad takes... But some are just not good, and it takes you out of it. Regardless, the VA director fucked up. All that aside, Lily seems like a super sweet person and her performance as Ada has grown on me. And she most certainly didn't deserve any harassment. No one does. But yeah. She's alright. Wish her all the best. *I also wasn't a huge fan of her response to the backlash myself. She could have handled it better, but I'm not going to judge. She was under a significant amount of hate at the time, and that's enough to make anyone overly defensive, and I get that...
