Most people who are very engaged in the game have agreed on this for a while, however the issue became more apparent after the starr road update because their brawler release output had to be doubled in order to make credits and chroma credits profitable. We got 2 brawlers per season yet most of them were very uninspired and reiterative, with only a single new gimmick and the rest of their mechanics being borrowed from others. Even now that chroma credits are no more, season are only 1 month long and the output needs to keep the pace. This won't ever change, because as supercell have said it, new brawlers are the most engaging thing of every update and they always bring activity to the game, so unless they become profitable they won't stop (very unlikely)

Lily was NOT designed against aggro compositions, she is, on the other hand, a great squishy brawlers counter such as against most marksmen and artillery. The problem is that on open maps tho she struggles because she has very low range while also no way to get close to enemies without her first gadget, which makes her too dependent on it. I feel like they should somehow fix that by making even better on open maps rather than close ones. It might sound rlly scary, but I would suggest upping her base speed by a tier, making her the brawler with the highest base speed, so she could dodge more stuff easier and get closer to enemies to charge her Super. At the same time, I would change her 1st gadget, giving it only 1.5 seconds of shadow realm, but she will also gain a speed boost so she repositions faster upon using it. And her other gadget, which is quite underwhelming rn because of the first one, might receive a buff of having a lot faster projectile because it is terribly slow as of now, or even being almost instant so she can repositions wherever she wants on the map in an instance. For her star powers, I would nerf a bit the first one, by giving her only 900 damage extra, but at the same time buff the super damage by 300 to make up for it. This will make choice between Star Powers a bit fairer imo. LMK what you guys think!

The reason why lily is so inconsistent is because sometimes when you use super your ammo unloads some how so you go in with no ammo witch makes you die 💀💀💀

That's why I like assassins with dashes like Fang better. You're stuck in the animation, so you can't waste ammo. Imo, my main problem is that her dmg is terrible for having 1 ammo. Fang does 2.7k, Cord does 2.8k, and she does 2.4k. How does that make sense for a single-ammo brawler? Either give her 3 ammo or severely buff her damage.

@@Mark-fm8co Wdym “3 ammo is a lot?” Every other assassin not only has 3 ammo, but some outdamage and outrange her as well. Every other assassin can kill a squishy brawler with no problem, that’s what they’re good at. Compare the damage and range: Lily does 2.4k (7.2k + SP = 8.4k) w/ the shortest range in the game, Fang does 2.7k (8.1k) w/ the same range as a Crow, Cord does 2.8k (8.4k) w/ around the range of Ash, Buzz does around 4k (12k) w/ slightly more range, Leon does 3k (9k) w/ similar range to Fang and Crow. So yeah, even if she did have 3 ammo, a lot of other assassins still have the same, if not, more damage than her, and if they don’t, they massively outrange her. There are also brawlers with multiple times her range that outdamage her and a lot of assassins like Nani, Colt, Griff, etc.

I feel like she would be better if she had 2 ammo slots and her SP and super damage were reduced, just enough so her DPS can actually keep people yet not overtuned so her weaknesses are still apparent. Even then tough, she's just underwhelmingly designed, there are a lot more reliable and fun assassins to pick in any situation Lily can be picked, and it's not like we are on an asssassin shortage right now, we got Mico, Melodie and now Lily 3 updates in a row (add Kit on top since he's an hybrid). She's just really bad.

From my experience, the 1st SP is simply better with Lily. Without it, she has to reload to kill so many brawlers that she would've insta killed if she had it. Why does that matter? Because you're taking damage while reloading, which can easily lead to death if the brawler has high dps or their teammates step in, so the faster you get the kill, the better. I've used her in Mythic, and she's essentially a skill check. Every time I won, the enemy team either didn't play well, or my teammates carried me. But I lost every time the enemy team knew how the brawler worked and played accordingly. Sure, assassins go up and down in viability depending on the opponents knowledge, but she's the first assassin that legitimately felt unplayable if the enemy team had that knowledge.

Lily is not that appealing for most players, especially being an "underwhelming Fang" (not that it is worse than him) and actually pretty balanced. So people tend to forget that she even exists

She is a worse Fang. I have Gold Mastery with both brawlers and can confidently say that Fang is simply better. Her one saving grace is her gadget, but Fang has a busted Hypercharge in return.

Off topic, but i feel Max is not that strong compared to previous meta becuz the dmg inflation/hypercharge rn. U can easily die due to hypercharges and basically everyone have absurb dmg rn??
