The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society tells the story of a writer who forms an unusual bond with the islanders of Guernsey in the aftermath of WWII. Star Lily James speaks to Anna Walker about the film.

It became one of my top fav instantly, but I'm still waiting to see Lily in a more powerful and pure movie like Pride and prejudice or Jane Eyre, I know she can pull it easily

Pride and prejudice and zombies 😂 ironically it’s actually not that bad. I’m not a huge zombie person, like any zombies, all the zombies in the entire world, no thanks. I am a fan of LJ, which is why I even watched it. 10/10 would recommend. Top two favorite movies she’s done: 1. Little Woods 2. The exception

Who was the leading character? I think Mathew Goode played the publisher, but I'm not familiar with the actor who played opposite Lily James. Lily James did a bang-up job I thought.

He's a Dutch actor name Michiel Huisman. He's in several episodes in Game of Thrones and lead actor in The Age of Adeline. I am so swooning over this actor in this movie, will definitely be watching it again.
