What's the use of steaming the flowers? Is it really necessary to steam it?

Yes, the steaming process fixes the coloured dusts to the flower. Otherwise the colour would be very easy to smudge or be removed

I have a question: I have order almost everything you sell on amazon because I love flowers plus I used porcelain clay my question is would I be able to use the same color powder that you use for yours for the clay? And if it’s a yes where would I be able to purchase it or what’s the name of them and thank you and you are the best I have learned how to make some flowers with clay a little difficult but I’m trying to get there with making them.

Hi Catherine, thank you for your comment. It is okay to use any brand of powders or dusts that you can find with your clay flowers. The only difference will be that you should use an unscented hairspray to fix the colors to your flower after you've dusted to stop the colors smudging.
