So 6x06 was...better for me than any episode of this season so far. I actually missed some things and I have to be thankful to my Twitter friends for pointing out that all the things Lily said about the painting had a double meaning (I'm so lame). But yay, parallels. The voiceovers gave me some trouble cos people would talk over the other so I had to cut them and overlap. Ugh I hope you'll make sense of it xD
This was a suggestion by DanilaJDGG90. I figured it was time to vid a song she likes as she has always been so amazing to me. Plus we had a deal that she would post a new chapter to her Rufly fic before Christmas if I vidded one of her suggestions. You remember our deal right?? It hurts more because they didn't even get a bittersweet ending :( The writers just destroyed Lily in the fifth Season. It's not out of character for Lily to cross moral lines: forging signatures, banishing Ivy and turning her into a pariah, even being seduced by Bart's "redemption" and inclusion in her "world". It makes her complex, flawed, beautiful. But she would *never* have sided with Bart taking everything away from Chuck, not when she was willing to give everything up for him! Nor can I believe that the superficial life with Bart held enough appeal to make her not at least begin to miss Rufus or feel empty. I held onto the hope that she was secretly colluding with Chuck in the later episodes of the fifth season, but... the writers thought married stepsiblings were worse than everything else they'd pulled, and they had so much fun turning Lily into CeCe that they wrecked the best couple on that show :( It breaks my heart :'(

In 1x04 Rufus asks Lily what she thought of the painting she returned him (she couldn't take it once she knew Allison had painted it).She replies that it was extraordinary,but she really meant Rufus.So in 6x06 she puts a painting up for auction but once she finds out Ivy also wants it she needs it back (and she mentions several times she can't let Ivy have it cos it's hers/means so much to her/didn't realize how much it meant to her til it was gone.So again the painting is a metaphor for Rufus;)

I never even thought about the painting line having double meaning, now I do and I hope your right because its beautiful. LOVE the video, so so sad. You captured their expressions perfectly so much so that I had forgotten some of those heartbreaking looks they give each other. Thanks for reminding me how amazing they are once again. and lasts through 2.25 is what really got me the most "It is a curse I do not wish on my worst enemy", makes sense the writers wished it on us. The coloring is perfect, the cut, the scenes you picked, the voiceovers, the lines, the sexy Kelly's looks and Matt's lips and OMG that smile Kelly gives to Matt and the way she looks at him at 0.40, my Settleford are in it too!! This is just too much. I LOVE IT! I LOVE U! You just earned the right to pester me until the day I die. Lol We do have a deal

I knew the song was perfect for my Rufly when I heard it the first time and it's been "my rufly song" since then. What I did not know is how EVEN MORE PERFECT you could make it. Oh my God Suvi, this is just too beautiful for words. I'm literally overwhelmed by all the emotions it brought up: sadness, joy, happiness, anger and so much more. All the parallels with season 1? FANTASTIC! I don't know how many times I mumbled "Fuck you Lily" between a sob and another. The segment that starts at 1.59

Already watched it about 10 times and I just cannot stop because this is probably the best Rufly video you've ever made. And it is so much better than how it has been in my head since the day I first heard this song (about 3 years ago). I am honestly stunned. This is actually one of the best videos I've ever seen ever, and I watch a lot of videos. Rufus and Lily have been one of my favorite couples for such a long time. It's sad that it doesn't really seem like they are going to be end game. :( anyway, amazing video!!

It was a shame for them to not end up together, and she gets back with that scumbag William Ewww, Rufus made just some mistakes and she divorces him huh, i cried in this video you're the best, nd they broke them up for Derena but WHO MaRrIes their nightmare, should have been the book ending Dan and Vanessa at least it made sense but again in Books,we didn't have Rufly so , well the conclusion is they should have been the endgame,not Dan and Serena.Dan was evil never should have been forgiven no offense.
