This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written for a musical, although unfortunately a not well known musical. Steffan's & Samuel's rendition is absolutely amazing. If they were in a revival of the show, I would see it everyday. I have a great admiration for what you all (WEOW) are doing to keep musical theater alive and well. Wishing you continued success and a speedy return to the theater where you truly are meant to be.

This has always been one of my favourite duets of all-time (I've sung Lily twice in school/uni), so when I saw this link, I clicked it so fast I'm surprised I didn't injure my hand. lol Gentlemen, this is perfection. The emotion, the phrasing, the balance...Steffan, your more pure tenor gave Neville a tenderness that broke my heart and made me fall in love with him. Samuel, I *hear* the more heroic Archibald in your voice along with the loss and I feel like so many renditions miss out on that. Both of you have this impeccable sense of when to keep it soft and when to bring in the vocal power that's just magic. Da iawn chi, mae'n bendigedig!

Amazing, thanks for doing this! I recall seeing the show in NYC in 1992 when thousands were dying each day from HIV, no effective treatments and no drug cocktails. Several times during the show, especially during the song "How could I ever know?" (when the dead sing to loved ones they left behind) we could hear sobs coming from fellow audience members. Beautiful and powerful music and lyrics.

The Secret Garden is among some of the first professional productions I saw as a kid...and I've been in love with it ever since. It's on my list of shows for which I'd love to design the set, or maybe even get me back onstage. This duet is beautiful. Your voices blend perfectly for this song. LOVE IT!
