I started my business four years ago, aged 51, having done a business degree in my forties. I left school at 16 with one O Level. We're never too old and it's never too late! My 'kids' are 21 and 19 and Good Wash Day is my third baby :-)

Love your glasses! They look great. I think you're doing the right thing if you find winter hard, I also turn to food! I like to frame winter as downtime, hibernation time like nature - I think as humans we need it too! Life is fast and hectic, we need a quiet season. And like you said it can be so beautiful, the low light, ice, snow, frost. We've had so much frost in Manchester so far this year its been the most stunning January in years.

In my culture when you're making chicken soup, you would never toss the chicken. Instead you eat the cooked chicken with a thicker tomato sauce and bread which gives you the flavour

Don't you roast the chicken first to intensify the flavor! Raq boiled chicken will taste horrible but if it's been roasted with some salt and garlic first then boiled. I also make soup on a Monday after I've done roast chicken for Sunday dinner the day before, so I can and in the extra chicken bones!!!
@1991KFL4 сағат бұрын
This is what we have always done too - no waste!

I always boil and it's still delicious, not horrible. I think roasting would make it better I agree but calling it horrible otherwise is a bit of a reach

I would recommend to get used to the rules of the game, whenever you feel bored. It’s a pain to familiarize yourself with a game when everyone sits around you ready to play. You can use the sake thing for making yourself a mini cocktail. Like all the ingredients in a bowl. And then spin it in the bottle. Maybe fun for kids too with different juices.
