I love Limbo. So...The end is where it all began. The ladder you can see is in fact leading to the tree house the boy was playing in with his sister (the girl) before he fell and died. Instead of going into the after life he travels through "LIMBO" in order to say one last good bye to his sister. Its a deep story.

According to one fan site: According to many old tales, the soul can only get out of Limbo until the body is properly buried. The boy continues through Limbo until his sister finds and buries his body. So in the ending scene, she is not digging but she is covering his grave. She senses him and he sees her one last time before going to heaven.

OMG, was I the only one laughing hysterically at all the untimely death scenes... I would have quit halfway with frustration. Thanks for letting me see the whole thing and to my neighbors for not knocking on my door to tell me to shut the hell up!!!!

The game play gets you by either hesitation or impatience. And you can't see what's coming until it's too late so you end up dying over and over again because you have to jump for a platform before you see it and you usually miss it by a pixel. When you do succeed after three hours stuck in the same spot that takes three minutes to get back to after dying, you do it entirely by chance. We just watched one and a half hours of a three hour game and my blood pressure is up. If I was playing it I would have had a stroke by now.

He obviously was watching other play throughs off screen. You can tell very clearly. Some instances a new player would be curious to go and try climbing a ladder or jumping here and there but Hollow went exactly the correct path and easily found such tough solutions. I think this was the reason he had his face cam off. On one screen he had the play through playing. He cheated but I guess it doesn't matter.

Lots of symbolism and imagery in this game, and Inside as well. The subtext and message is what they are truly about. Very profound and thought-provoking under the surface but very curious and unassuming on the surface. Soma is another gem that goes under the radar but it's actually borderline terrifying when you begin to understand and question. Glad youre finally playing these, even if a bit late to the party!

❤ Limbo does mean boarders or edges.. a reference between being neither dead nor alive! Also Hollow the fun of watching you play these games is for the stream of consciousness you provide, and seeing your utter shock or fear in momemts like the bear trap, the spider impaling you, the frikkin "I'm dead" when a boulder rocks you.. Idk why you chose to hide your face this time, for next time I would just show it! Most these horror games you play I've already seen and really, its just fun watching you do it. We appreciate you!!

Yes, two sets of flies. Imo you go through things that scared him in life. But he first is looking for his sister. I think the other ppl are bullies, spiders cause he don't like em, and I think the last levels are gravity and danger because they both fell from the tree house. Weightlessness and fear as they fell to their death. Just my theory. So glad you played and glad I got to relive it with your play. Continued success to you and your channel.

Limbo came out like 2010 for xbox 360. And I still play to this day ever so often even though I've beaten it a number of time over the years. Great game.

I remember back when I first played this, my friend said it seemed like a car wreck because you are thrown through glass and tumble into the grass (and the sister/mom/whatever seems to be leaning over something in grass). I think if that's the case, maybe she committed suicide due to the event (all the hanged corpses), leading to two bodies in the end?

Niceee I was hoping you’d go back and play limbo after inside since it’s playdead’s first game. Another crazy good game. Definitely would recommend playing sommerville after this too since it’s a similar style and actually made by one of the main guy’s from playdead after he left the studio and made his own and funnily enough he named the studio Jump ship lol. The boy die due to falling while playing from the tree house. All the characters in the game except that boy are his fears like spider, saw blade, electricity, water. In last chapters of the game you will experience some gravity things because that boy was falling just before he died. The whole game is imagination/dreem of that boy experiences between hitting the ground and dying.

So that's why it's called limbo, it's like he's going in the same circle looking for the same thing ( his sister) while they are either both dead or on the brink of it, hence another reason why it's called limbo, that's my theory that makes sense to me🙃😊 I'm also wondering if these characters grow up a little and are the characters in "inside" the boy from here is the boy in "inside" and the girl is maybe the mermaid/fish girl? just a thought🤔😊
