Now this is what I call music! It was not made to be a hit, or to earn money. It was acually composed to reach the audience' mind! The disturbing tones, the feeling of fear. This is real music! Pure music.
@netcrafter39888 жыл бұрын
+Deavon Manson Music has no pattern. Music is unlimited, it basically has no rules. I think its a creative and artistic way of making music. Even your barking dog makes music. Music is all about sounds. This might be random, but it stills has a pattern. You got to listen to the whole song. I think this is better than crap from today anyways. Something, that the artist truly created, and not a song writing team behind the 'artist'. Music is music, if the artist calls it music. Its made with his own creation, his feelings and his souls. Thats how music should be made. Doesn't mean it needs to be noise/atmospheric! Could be also Rock or Pop! Just not same shit as always, it gets boring.
@netcrafter39888 жыл бұрын
+Deavon Manson Well, Yea beauty is the thing you want to produce. I dont think this is just noice. Its another way to express emotions. Fear, anxiety. I am open for every music genre (Punk, Metal, Hard Rock, Rock'n'Roll, Reggae, Ska, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Blues, Disco, Ambient, Avant-Garde, Pop, Rap, Electro-Punk, Dubstep, Noise etc...) I think its just also a beautiful way to reach the audiences mind with its dark ambient, the white noise behind. Harmony is beautiful, but it doesn't need harmony everytime. I think, you just need to do music, how you want to express your emotions. Your an artist as soon as if you want to start making music, no matter which genre, but music with feelings and emotions. Just like "Death Disco", by PIL. People misunderstood the meaning of the song. It was written for the loss of the singers (John Lydons) mom. He didn't sing like that to sound beautiful. He sang it how he wanted it to be. He sang it in destruction, sadness and madness. He wanted to express how he feels. The disharmony in his voice is just wonderful. Another example is the song "Blackstar" by David Bowie. He sang it with pure emotions. Well 'nuff said. The difference between music amd noise is, as long as it has emotions in it, its music. If its made of boredom, no feelings just mad noise, its just disturbing noise. Sounds are beautiful.
@lars380107 жыл бұрын
Well the genre: Harsh Noise is a combination of mad noises. But it is stil music. Because it stil has expression. So there is no real border between music and noise. Because music uses sounds. And sounds have vibrations like (vocals,beats,melodies ect) And noise means unpleasant. But the problem is that some people find something pleasant,interesting,mysterious ect. That other people don`t find pleasant,interesting,mysterious ect.
@Sighbot7 жыл бұрын
Music stripped down to a bare bones skeleton. Such ambiance emanates from pieces like these. Not to please the mind, but to provoke emotions we don't feel everyday. Anger, fear, disgust, etc. Quite a marvel of what how far we can push the boundaries of music.
@JuniorBlitz7 жыл бұрын
If it meets one of the elements of music then it can be considered music. This is a movement of sounds changing and it happens to be enjoyable compared to just noise so this can be considered music. Noise music is one of the types and can be differenated from sound effects and noise on their own.

Mr Msan Actually No, Noise Music has no concrete subgenres, everything weird, with no structure and chaotic can be Noise Music, and also sounds like the train, the cars passing by can be Noise Music.
@KuraSourTakanHour8 жыл бұрын
Sebastian Caudal That can be said about the start of most "music", originally there was just Jazz, but then we got Jazz blues and electronic jazz, which uses different sounds and perculiar instruments but you can still hear the core theme is jazz. It doesn't need to be concrete in music, it's about how it feels, and that's a good thing. Noise music that gives a spooky, frightening or unnerving feeling could be dark noise. Pure noise music is just completely random sounds like what you suggested

@kjell15910 жыл бұрын
This is what is called 'noise-music', it is meant to be different from musical standards. :)
@TriTheCynic10 жыл бұрын
I know what the motives are, and it's with well intent. However I don't believe this is where it needs to lead. I enjoyed only the atmospheric aspect of it. Where as cleverness is only how it's trying to provoke the mind into having them decide what it means to them. That is what I interpret from other peoples experiences, however it can't be helped that people can enjoy certain sounds that others find enjoyable. I mean no disrespect, I just can't see this being anything more. Unless it becomes a hybrid of some sort or it is expanded upon. Currently, it's conceptual, later who knows. Maybe it'll get better, for now it's not for me.
@TriTheCynic10 жыл бұрын
Listening to it again, it seems that musical standards are still upheld.I don't hear the difference other than they are not...nope it still follows standards. There is progression, repetition, a high, a low, similar notes and a theme or concept. As I said before, it is more like a sound effect much like what you hear in movies.
@kjell15910 жыл бұрын
cecilio rodriguez I'm not sure it is going to make hits. :S

Probably with the right crowd, but that might be a minority. As in major league hits most likely not, because there's no hook at all. I think it's biggest flaw that nothing about it truly stands out, it just seems pretentious. I'm sure it'll improve, maybe.
