Congratulations on getting through on one of the bigger ordeals in the game! Two hours or no, I was glad to see you reading up on the skills - you will find that certain IDs are great additions to any team and help bulldoze things, and teams which sync with each other in more ways than just damage type or debuff. Also very happy to see you enjoy the game and its story so much! This game series has been living rent-free in my head for at least two years now and it's incredibly fun to see others learn about the game's world.

I love insight as a mechanic and Discard along with it but yeah it really is a really weird thing initially get. You got two rows of skills and you choose one to use. The one that’s grayed out and not used will get discarded by the other one which is used if it says it discards. And the rank of insight next turn depends on the rank of that discarded skill. Not always important but cleansing debuffs and coin power is really nice for discarding your skill 3 sometimes.

The best way to overcome a win-rate addiction is always using R Ishmael and watching her annihilate one of your sinners cause you didnt realize she was using Mind Whip on turn 1

Also holy moly Tenma your team is STACKED. Zwei Ish, Dieci Rodion, RE&P Ryoshu and Pointillist Yi Sang are absolutely insane. Those four + maybe someone who can supply bleed count and you're golden. You can then take your pick for the first deployed character, Ish for constant defensive stance, Ryoshu for super quick charge stacking or Yi Sang for illegal amounts of damage. Apologies if this was already mentioned or is too backseaty but deploying less sinners than the maximum amount in focused encounters (where you select the targets of the skills yourself) will result in your sinners gaining extra skill slots in the order in which they were deployed until the aforementioned maximum is reached. So taking 5/6 sinners allows your first deployed sinner to gain a second slot, tremendously increasing their potential. This works wonders with hypercarries such as RE&P Ryoshu or Pointillist Yi Sang who can then go on a killing spree with the extra resources afforded to them.
