First time I saw the ukes ?2003 in a village hall in north yorkshire, I came out with my face aching from grinning ear to ear for 2 hours. Similar experience watching this, well done guys.

Hi this is Tobe’s daughter writing I am a HUGE fan. I have been playing ukulele for a year and a bit now and already have nine ukuleles! My dad tells me when the amazing UOGB have put up a new video I immediately watch it and love the fact that you are all so cheerful in such a nice way. Thank you all for the brilliant videos that you have put up over the years and of course during this difficult time. I am always humming away all the catchy songs you have done over the past few years and the recent ones just as much. I heard one of you gave my dad a love on his comment thank you so much I want you all to know that he is very great full for it. You are all so talented in such clever, brilliant ways. Just saying a big thank you to the Ukes for providing such fun, warmth and a wonderful distraction in these difficult times. I only discovered this fantastic group about a year ago after my daughter took up the ukulele and I was searching for interesting music demonstrating the full potential of the ukulele. Since that time, the whole family have become huge fans and regularly get our fix of UOGB videos on KZbin. Looking forward to see you all in person when the lockdown is over! I come from a mainly guitar-based background, but have to confess to becoming as equally obsessed with the uke (and The Ukes!) as my daughter, grabbing one of hers at every conceivable opportunity! So George, Dave, Hester, Peter, Richie, Will, Jonty, Leisa and Ben, please keep doing what you're doing including the wonderful little interludes (uke collections, play-alongs etc.). My 10-year old daughter is now quite an accomplished interpreter of such UOGB classics as Heroes, Teenage Dirtbag and Sweet Dreams amongst others. Keep ukeing!!!
