There is no way this company did not already decide to dissolve its MLM before making this announcement. The amount of legalese, paperwork, the need to slow down production, liquidate assets, etc., would have required intense calculations, accounting, and voting by board members. This is not an overnight decision. The fact that some reps think they can turn this company around at this stage shows how little they understand business.

I said it and I will say it again: companies make plans for at least 3-6 months. They have financial reporting that they have to do so there's no way they can decide to go to an affiliate model from one month to another, or that they don't know they are at risk of bankrupcy with 3-6 months before. There's no way. Also the Malardi family should manifest more sales, they should work harder, they should be more postured around their business, should believe more in their business. Well them making the consultants feel like its on their shoulders to save the company and if it folds it’s their fault- falls in line with the “you’re not successful in your business because you’re not working hard enough and not talking to enough people.” Limelife gets to say they have them a warning so they can’t say they didn’t know. I’m wondering if there is some sort of balloon loan payment that is due on December 1st. If they meet their nut they stay open. If not, they can’t pay bonuses and need to go to affiliate.

The girlies on my timeline that sell it claim they aren’t closing it’s just the original owners were trying to buy it back. They say they 100% aren’t closing. I’m pretty sure they are telegraphing their plans to collapse into affiliates only…just to save the company by skipping the large bonuses. ‘Look at arbonne, they came back from bankruptcy and totally rebranded, we will too!!’ ~A Limelife CEO, probably. Btw after LL collapses, arbonne and Monat will be very close behind. Going to affiliate won’t necessarily keep the doors open. I think it’s just a way to offload the last of their inventory before they close for good.

1:31:20 this is the first time I’ve actually heard this being stated aloud and something I’d not considered. This is also not to dog on warehouse jobs AT ALL (I have personally worked in one), but the fact that the warehouse staff making the products are actually considered employees, in comparison to the huns who blab that they are, it’s maddening. Fuck the sales pitch, also statistically and legally safer to get a job in the warehouse lol! Typically, and this is from my own personal experience too, the warehouse jobs are often taken up by a lot of migrants, or are paid lower wages compared to those of the actual sales people within the company. Not to say I agree with that difference in pay, but even when they don’t meet the ‘norm’, you gotta know something is off. Typically I’d say the warehouse staff should be paid more normally because they’re taking more of the risk, but they’re actually safer than these MLM huns who are PAYING to WORK. Just when I think MLMs couldn’t get anymore ridiculous or statistically heinous, there’s always more! Thank you for pointing this out, I haven’t seen it discussed anywhere else. I would be REALLY interested to see if we could find the going pay rates for warehouse staff so we could compare them to the income disclosures. But also, (and this is just a theory based on how greedy MLM corporate owners are and how the huns are treated), but I wouldn’t be suprised if they had a very high percentage of migrant workers and paid them very little. I have so little faith in their moral compass, that I honestly couldn’t imagine them exploiting the labour of their ‘sales reps’ and not the warehouse staff.
