LIMITED Edition Rapunzel MAKE-OVER?! Disney Doll hair styling & customizing

In today's video, we're taking a look at the brand new Limited Edition Rapunzel doll! I got this doll on December 5th, when she was released on the USA Disney Store site. The week prior to that, I tried getting her from the UK site, but there she sold out before I was able to get her.
In this video, I discuss her hair (that's in a beautiful, long braid with flowers attached), face, dress, accessories and doll stand!
I'm so excited that Disney decided to use the new facemold for this Limited Edition doll for the 10th anniversary from Tangled, because Rapunzels face is gorgeous and resembles the animated movie SO well!

Every time I got a rapunzel doll her hair would get tangled in 15 mins I unboxed her and I put her back she just wiggles in the box lol

I do like how her hair truned out.. I would never have the cuts to do some of the stuff you’ve done.. I’d be to afraid of Ruined and the doll. But she looks very lovely. I’m glad you were able to get her!

I totally get that, however for me redressing and restyling my dolls is such a big part of the enjoyment. Happy to share my experiences here, so other collectors can see what she looks like out of her box, and keep her nice and safe inside the box for themselves :)

I was lucky enough to get this doll too! I thought this punzie doll was really pretty with the braid, but you managed to make her look more gorgeous with her curls! It look like a long and hard process your went through, but the end result was stunning. Congrats on a job well done!!!

Same, I tried doing the same to my own LE Rapunzel and definitely damaged a bit. Tbh, I used a bit too much heat on the entire head of hair, but I'm still learning how to properly care for dolls

Thank you for this video! It was so good to see this doll. As I probably never own own I could have a real good look thanks to you! Actually it's appalling that her hair wasn't really up to scratch for a price tag like that! Maybe Disney should subscribe to your channel and learn a thing or too.😂 I love that you undid the hair too. I would be the same. Curious to see. It seems a shame for a doll to be stuck in a box and not beeing enjoyed at all. X

I have the same rupunzel doll but the ends of her hair always frizz, they are very dry and her hair keeps shedding. 😢 However using fabric softer will give you a better result than using water. Hope this helps.😊

I tried to do the same thing but the hair quality was just terrible for some reason. My dolls hair ends were terrible and fuzzy too I tried everything but after all the brushing she just kept loosing hair so I just decided to reroot from scratch with 40" nylon strands of hair. And now she’s perfect, so silky and smooth

Lovely ✨ for some advice on the hair , you should use shampoo then an conditioning treatment. That way it's completely clean and smooth.

Personally, I don't really like to use shampoo on doll hair unless it's really dirty!

I never suggest brushing or combing Disneystore doll hair before you wash out ALL the product and don't force brush/comb through it because the hair quality is poor and damages easy. I've learned to be extra careful with hair from these dolls, so I always make sure to wash it water and use my fingers to comb through the hair to avoid any tangles. when applying brushing or combing, once I feel resistance I don't force it and stop and use my fingers to carefully undo the area of resistance and so forth.
