I haven't finished the video, but trust me, you will get through it. This has happened to me, but it's even more heartbreaking because my best friend died from cancer 3 months ago. This is something i have to live with for the rest of my life knowing I'm only 14 and have a long, long life ahead of me without my best friend that I have known since we were in pre-school. Knowing I won't be reunited with him until I die which is going to be around 70 years at minimum is a terrible way to live life, but there was nothing I could do.

I am saying this for you because it can backfire someday, even if it's cancer some people can take it very badly I personally feel like the way I lost my friend because he had to go home for the day is a lot worse, because sure I was going to see him tomorrow but I lost him for today, and that sucks way harder because I experienced that. I didn't experience your friend having cancer since I am not you, so I just don't feel it and it doesn't hurt me, but I feel this, so it hurts a lot more. I am using this joke to explain how it can backfire, but it checks out because sometimes people will tell you a situation that is really small but they are gonna get mad if you compare. I don't want you to end up arguing with people especially people you care about over "who had it worse", it's silly and messed up, what matters is that it happened edit: just saying because people used to get mad at me for comparing
