Such a good fight, I liked the character development of Katsumi in this arc

This is arguably my favorite fight in all of Baki- not only because of the message and character development but also because of how it ends next episode. The training, the build up to the actual fight showing all the important people in Katsumi's life and then his actual fight against Pickle who I think here more than anywhere else in the story shows that compared to the people of the Modern Era he's a godlike (or devilish depending on who you ask) being. Yet at the same time we see how far Katsumi has come where at this moment I think he's easily surpasses his father, surpasses Retsu and even old man Kaku Kaioh. I think he'd be able to throw the 1s with Baki and impress even Yujiro

It is not an exhaggeration to say Katsumi here became the fav. char of a lot of the fans. Or, at least, joined their top 10. His development is amazing, a tendence Itagaki fortunately 'd follow with other characters on future archs.
