I think Limmy does have a good point about the Stonehenge thing. As far as protesting, it does just come off as pointless, or even counterproductive to damage historical artifacts. Average people are very aware that they don't have power to significantly change the world, and I'm guessing that the protesters were just trying to do something-anything at all.
