I remember when I was little my dad and I would be driving down the road and I would say "daddy turn on blue eyes". We would both sing this song over and over. I still love this song, it makes me feel like my dad is still with me.

To everyone who can relate to this song because they were bullied, because of depression.. i just want to tell you that you are perfect they way you are. If people around you can't get you, don't worry.. you just haven't met the right people yet.. stay strong, no matter what! You will meet the people that will accept you they way you are and you will realise that worrying about the toxic people in your life was just a waste of your precious time. Remember, you are beautiful just the way you are, accept your flaws and keep in mind that the good days will come eventually. Keep your head up! To everyone reading this, I hope that you have a beautiful day and that the good days will come for you as soon as possible!

My God, I love how the continual power of music gets people, myself included, through the sometimes catastrophic circumstances of their lives. Music also celebrates your human triumphs along with you when you are happy as well. It has saved, along with so many others, so much of my life. I have been married happily for 25 years to my soul mate, who is a schooled classical musician on the Juilliard level, and he loves so many different types of music, as I do. It saves and celebrates lives. I have a difficult time trusting the few people I have met who do not like music of any kind. It's like they are aliens to me. That may not seem fair, but there it is. I'm not saying they are not trustWORTHY; I'm saying I have a hard time understanding them.

This brings me back to the days when I was a depressing kind of guy in middle school. I was a social outcast all because of shit that happened in elementary school that made me not trust people, made me not want to talk to anyone, and further more people thought I was weird and thought they didn't understand me. I got used to it and grew out of it. I was glad to be the lone wolf in high school. I made good friends that weren't popular and it helped me find out who I could really trust and count on. I am glad I fought this depression by myself. It made me stronger and more confident as ever.
@CaydenJLuther2 жыл бұрын
You remind me of my highschool life lol I just graduated this year and lived my whole life an outcast and had a few friends also and they are my best friends more like brothers now because we always have each others backs. Lone wolf is the style I rock! I also never had a gf i will admit bc i was the quiet social awkward kind of guy. I cant keep a conversation going with a girl at all. But i really never wanted a relationship and still dont. And i grew up without a dad who never cared for me but I grew so much stronger because of it and now I am doing so much greater than i used to

@LuigiLaker6 ай бұрын
@@tommysandal6930 Did I *say* that Limp Bizkit made this track? No I dont think I did...but I will agree with you on the fact that its sad that the best Limp Bizkit song ever was a cover. But you can't deny the talent that lead singer has and it shows in this track..just boggles the mind how he can do so great here, yet be a part of a more or less suck ass, mediocre at very best band.

The first time I remember listening to this song is when I was 5 or 6. I can't really remember but my dad was the one who showed it to me. He had me listen to it and said that it was our song. I don't really know why he said that; either it was because we both had blue eyes, he wanted to share one last thing he could think of with me, or any other reason. I don't really know and i'll never really know, but this is what I have to remember him by. he died. and whenever I miss him I get the urge to listen to this song. for me its kinda nostalgic, and when ever I listen to it, I can't help but get sad. But at the same time this song is a huge comfort to me. I may not be old enough to have known this band, but dispite that it holds a special place in my heart.

I typically don't like covers, and I'm not a fan of Limp Bizkit. But, I have to say, this is a great cover of the classic by "The Who". Limp Bizkit did a fantastic job in preserving the feeling of the original song. ^_^ Their singer has a nice voice as well.. I like how he is able to be melodic but also raspy at the same time. Good job, to them. ^_^

Me too. Even if I've brown eyes... I'm broken, lonely, tolerated, misunderstood sometimes in what I say (Meaning), treated bad (Not violence, but in mind), suffered and passed bullying from primary to high school (Different bullies, classmates), now I don't care about 'em. They bothered me so much, now I don't salute 'em anymore, just recognize 'em. My family isn't perfect, my life isn't the way that I dreamed it since 18 (I'm 22 now, still dreaming, but my hopes are GONE). People in my town (1.000+ souls) complain about me with my parents cos "She rides her bike all day (1/3 times) without doing anything else?", "What does your daughter?", "Always on the bike?". I DON'T CARE ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE. Known after 5 years (Left school, annoyed about studying, by 0 started fitness and mtb, now I'm pretty fit and better looking) of being home. I was so angry inside, they talked behind my back 😡, I'm false too, but NOT in that way. My life's philosophy is: You love your life, I live mine. And: I don't care about you? Why you have to care about me? Stop giving a fxck about me and keep looking at you... I let myself go. Sorry 🙄😞. I dream and imagine so much, damn, if those frames would be reality, my life would be AMAZING, better, way different 😍🙌🏻.

This is the song when someone says Oh how I like LB and then you ask - Really, which songs do you know from LB. Answer - Behind Blue Eyes. How I like when people say yeah it`s my favourite band by only knowing this song which is not even their but the cover. :D

Someone once said "Music is a drug"; and, no, I have no idea who said it, but I've heard it, so someone must have. Regardless of who said it, they got it wrong. Music is several types of drugs. In your day, pot and downs were the thing, and calm, relaxing, thought provoking music was the soup of the day. Then, at some point, everyone started dropping acid, and listening to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Today, most of the youth enjoys amphetamines (coke, adirol, meth) and speedy music. Whether it's a guy rapping so fast you're not sure he's speaking an actual language (often, he's not), or some kind of dubstep/autotune nightmare remix of a song you used to love. Or, they're so far gone on heroine that they don't even realize that music is playing...

Over 10 years ago, during my second middle school year I used to relate to this song a lot ...playing it and crying to it everyday... I just want to reach out to everyone who still relates to this song and say: It does get better..much better.. don't worry, have faith ❤

I'm waiting for it to get better but it's taking soo much time now that I have lost hope. I'm tired now, I'm sooooo tired.
@louliex91663 жыл бұрын
@@asitadkar4976 Never lose hope! I don't know what you're going through - You can need therapy and you can just be spiritually unsettled/unfulfilled. I don't know how you are experiencing spirituality, but getting close to God helps (in case you aren't already)... I know faith has the power to give you a bigger sense of perspective. I'd speak of my own faith.. Quran heals... truly! It's worth exploring. Have a great life ahead !

My friend said he was going to commit suicide, im not sure if he actually did but he is missing. This was his favorite song, he said it represented him, and it did, which makes me even sadder. Update: WELL its been 5 years and I completely forgot I commented this….. BUT UH! He’s not dead thankfully! He came back on his own, we got into a huge fight because he actually ran away just for attention, and we stopped being friends. He was…. Incredibly toxic to say the least. However, last year I managed to talk to him and he apologized, he’s doing much better now too. So, happy ending :)

No one knows what it's like, to be the Batman. To be the Sand-man. Dressed in, disguise. No one knows what it's like, to be berated. Masquaraded, under a Veil of Lies. But my deeds, they aren't as empty. As my comics seem to be. I've no powers, only gadgets. My fists are vengeance, that's always freed. No one knows what it's like, to beat these villains. Like I do. And dead-pool too! No one fights back as hard, on their Anger. All of their pain and woe, can show through. But my deeds, they aren't as empty. As my comics seem to be. I've no powers, only gadgets. My fists are vengeance, that's always freed.
