Limp Bizkit went absolutely hard during their debut album period and before they went mainstream all thanks to MTV and their sophomore album Significant Other and the album after that.

No, significant other is pure limp Bizkit and NOT mainstream. It's just not as heavy as tdby. IF an album is mainstream it is chocolate starfish. And mainstream isn't even the correct term. It's just not the real lb.

@@atom-o-tronic3505 It was though... It was on par with backstreet boys nsync etc. Just for the "white suburban kids" instead of girls. It was like Ken to BSB's Barbie. All that "wiggerish" etc.... Their first one is Pure gold Though... Love it to this day.

Compare this to Woodstock 99 where not a single person in the first 100 rows was standing still and folding their arms. They had come a loooong way by that time.

I saw them on significant other in Biloxi Mississippi im from Mississippi but that was the craziest pit i ever been in if you didn't move you got stomped not from mean people just so many he jumped in b the crowd i grabbed his left ankle kaki pants for 2 seconds fucking awesome!!!

Nah Rap Metal was already a thing in the late eighties/early nineties with Anthrax releasing “I’m the Man” in 1987 and their collaboration with Public Enemy with “Bring Tha Noise” followed by Rage Against the Machine releasing their debut in 1992 as Fred Durst states that he was a huge fan of RATM and is one of the huge influences on Limp Bizkit.

Yeah but it was very popular in the late 90s to early 2000's,a lot of nu metal bands were formed during those years,you have no idea how big the underground nu metal scene is of those years,leterally everyone wanted to make nu metal during those years
