The first ZF-Boxed Enviro 400 Trident from Go-Ahead London to feature on this channel is E112, part of the few Es that had moved from Merton to River Road some months ago. Here it features on a Rail Replacement, involving some lovely motorway sections and open roads! Unfortunately for some this bus did have a lovely glowing emissions light which obviously resulted the bus being in limp mode, but after a few runs it did 'move' a little bit better... however because of limp mode it does really hit the governed rev limit at 100% throttle (Kickdown) before shifting as well as downshifting pretty late in a gear too. Aside from the engine performance this bus is able to reach 62mph, unlike the usual mid 50s from an average E400 trident, so it was definitely a good motor for the M-ways, once it eventually got to that speed! 😂
And sound wise you might just hear a slight Ecomat tone in 1st gear every now and then...
Enjoy the video!
