It gave it a thicker sound, and I think a lot of bands at that time used lower tunings. Hed (pe) was the whole way down to B if I remember correctly. Korn was super low too.

That's what I dislike about the newer generations they have to censor everything. the music limp bizkit played challenged the old traditional ways (conformity). kids at the time were rebelling and they were looking for something new that would fit them and that's where limps music came in. iam now 19 years old and i grow up with this kind of music. generation X was not the best but they were different.
