I honestly don't mind that it has a IPS display since IPS is more resilient and durable than AMOLED. Used both and I tend to use AMOLED safer just not to get burn-ins but when it comes to IPS I won't worry about burn-ins.

I agree with you. What I hate about amoled display is when there's a delay when transitioning from dark to bright display or vice versa. The sudden drop or rise of brightness or dimming is annoying as well when watching it in a dark room.

I'm perfectly fine with LCD as well, although I also appreciate AMOLED for the outdoor brightness levels and ability to put an under-display fingerprint sensor (it's a gimmick but it's nice). AMOLED also looks similar to CRT displays, so that's also a plus for me.

Unfortunately? I am only looking at this phone because it has an IPS display. I wouldn't be able to use an amoled for long even to save my life. My eyes and head hurt so much from an amoled. So yeah, please speak for yourself. I am loving an ips feature. I hope they keep that up. There's barely anything to chose from these days with an ips, especially with good specs. I used an amoled once and i switched to an ips & I've never been happier with my decision. I won't get back to amoled as long as it's possible.

After watching the review by Mr Lim, i have no regret in my Realme Neo 3 which I bought recently. Since both have the same processor. Having switched from LCD to AMOLED. My previous phone was LCD screen. Camera at night I'll go for my Neo 3. Taking picture at night was a spot on.

I have another question: is it worth an upgrade from my old OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G? Because recently it have video recording bug and still not fixed yet by OPPO itself via system updates and I did planned to trade in my old OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G to this phone (X4 GT). I don't mind about screen quality downgrade from AMOLED to IPS LCD at least better performance than my current Reno5 Pro 5G. Meanwhile I did want to retain my old Poco X3 Pro because of it have FM radio built-in and great performance like OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G while my current Galaxy S22 Ultra will be my camera phone instead of gaming phone.

The OV64b although slightly smaller than the gw1 is a much newer sensor and in practice has performed quite well on previous models using it. Also the camera is easier to optimise with the snapdragon 870 than dimensity 8100. You'll see this if you compare the Chinese k40s (snapdragon 870) versus the k50 (dimensity 8100). The video quality on the k40s is far superior with the same camera hardware

Good video but for the love of God, AMOLED displays are harmful and are not suitable for everyone. there is a reason why PWM sensitive individuals prefer LCD/IPS instead of OLED. we get migraines, headaches and many other issues after using OLED displays.

If you are talking about PWM dimming, that is used by some LCDs as well. It depends on the device. Also it does not harm you eyes, it simply causes headache for some people, again depending on the specific case.
