This is really special because Lin Manuel was originally a surgeon who actually saved Weird Al's live in the 80's, but was inspired to become a musician after hearing Al's first all-original song "Eat It", which was later famously parodied by Michael Jackson. Life comes full circle; it really makes you think.

To put this into perspective: there've only been two other Weird Al polkas that have been about just one subject. One was only Rolling Stones songs, and the other was his polka version of "Bohemian Rhapsody." Lin just got the same privilege as the Rolling Stones and Queen. How do you like that! EDIT: Polkamon also counts. Polka Face was made up of multiple songs, so it’s not the same thing. (Perform This Way, on the other hand, is specifically a Gaga parody, but that’s not the same thing either. Al has done plenty of polkas with multiple artists and parodies of specific artists, but rarely does he do polkas on one artist or subject).

@waterwind22664 жыл бұрын
Did Fallon seriously not realize how intrusive and disrespectful it was to split screen himself into this video? Sure he's a big fan but you're literally putting yourself on par with THE CREATOR. That would be like if Weird Al made a parody of "Let It Be" and then John Lennon reacted to it in a split screen with Rosie O'Donnell. What sense did it make?
