Lin Yun Ju, the 18 years old young players from Taiwan. His nickname is the "Silent Assasin". He has won the top 4 best players with ease, quietness, and grace.
Today, let's learn his playing style as a right-handed version. As many of us are the right-handed players. You can see that, in this video, it's unbelievable that Lin's footwork is so good, and his ball quality (timing, and power) is impressive!

I saw his games in 2016. He played totally different in terms of level. I know he was much younger that time but just a year later, he started to play more with backhand flicks. And his forehand was more explosive. Whoever trained him in 2017 up to present did a good job. Whoever he is, he is really a good trainer.

You can tell he practices keeping the eye on the ball. After a lot of the plays, you see him continue to watch the ball even when it's out of the play. Snapping out of his trance after.

I like his playing style, he hits the ball sooner than the others players that makes his playing so smooth and fast. He is also very quiet (he reminds me Pete Sampras). I prefer watching this player better than Harimoto with his loud screams which disturb the opponent.

Is it just me, or left handed players have better technique in terms of using the body when hitting? Looks like right handed players use more the arm to hit and left handed combine the rotation from the waist more.

Unfortunately Harimoto has a better potential due to surroundings. Strong Chinese parents. Everyone in Japan backing him up an supporting his development. Though more talented is definitely Lin.
