The way she sings FINE always makes me feel the sadness she tries to convey there. Taeng is that singer who makes any song given to her her own songs even though she is not the one writing them. Her ability to convey the emotion of the songs is on another level. She's a story teller, but through her singing voice. You do not have to see her face while she sings to feel the emotion she's trying to convey. Her voice itself is already expressive. Her control is amazing. And I'm not only talking about ballad and sad songs. She's one of a kind, really. I don't know when I will ever have another favorite female singer if she quits singing.

there are a lot of talented kpop vocalists. but taeyeon is different. she knows how to tell a story with her songs, with her singing. she definitely has the x factor. for me she’s definitely top 3 vocalists in the entire music industry right now. i really like the direction her music is going too, it really fits my style. her first and second album is true art. taeyeon will always deliver no matter what she does, talent on a truly different level. the amount of soul and emotion she puts in her voice, when she’s happy you can truly hear it and when she sings love songs you hear the adoration, the love and the gratitude in her voice. in her most heart wrenching ballads you can really hear the loneliness and desperation through her entire performance. she’s truly a true and real artist, raw and completely devoted to her art. i adore her so much and i am so inspired by her. she’s a strong, vulnerable, raw, honest and talented human being and her ability to prevail even through the hardest times, and to be honest about her hardships and emotions. she’s a talented artist, on a different level and also an amazing human on top of it. taeyeon is truly the full package. the image of her tear rolling down her cheek as she tries her hardest to sing the high note of I, overwhelmed by emotions probably both happiness and sadness is such a perfect picture of who she is as a person. even through the hardest times she smiles, sings and tries her hardest to be the best. but never hiding her true self. dear taeyeon, never stop singing. you are the artist of my life. ♡

Whenever i saw her perform "I" on her live tours, whenever she sang "my life is a beauty", her face cracked for a second and she became very sad. These words must have felt painfully ironic to her for what she was going through at that time. I still can't watch these performances without crying, i'm so glad she is in a way better place now and i pray for her happiness everyday.
