I made a comment about this in a previous Mafia video: It's gonna be a huge bummer to see you play this without any music on because the soundtrack in this game is FANTASTIC! Also, yes, both Saint Denis and New Bordeaux are RDR2 and Mafia III's renditions of New Orleans, Louisiana. Those prompts you saw right when you first took control of Lincoln are the 3 story DLC's for this game: Faster Baby!, a full madness, GTA styled story with some romance sprinkled on top, Stones Unturned, a Far Cry/Uncharted-like fight through the jungle with Donovan, and Sign Of The Times, a horror movie basically, with a significant impact in Lincoln's mindset through his story. All of these are really fun and I recommend you play it! You noticed Lincoln's jacket from Mafia 2... Did you notice that the black car that Lincoln drives, the Samson Drifter, is also in Mafia 2 (and by the way you didn't like it, which is preposterous, thats's an All-American machine)? When you get the trilogy bundle, All three games come with these special items that pay homage to the other games of the series. Yeah, the combat in this game gets really violent as it goes on, so get ready for gore and lots of knife attacks and hand-to hand combat. Lincoln is 6ft4in tall. The game in itself is a flashback. The scenes you see with Father James and detective Maguire are way ahead in time (the early 2010s, I think), while the game is set in late 1968. At many points in the story, these cutscenes will appear to give you more insight about the events in that year. Plus, in the following chapters of the story, these cutscenes will feature a guy named John Donovan. He's THE BEST character in all Mafia games in my opinion. The cutscenes he appears in are from a court hearing he did in 1970 about the events that occured during the game. Sorry for the long text and all the edits, I keep checking the typos and just kept on adding stuff as I watched LOL

Quick tips for going forward, the silenced pistols are your best friends *use them* oh and mafia 3 is vastly more open world oriented than mafia 1 or 2 so once the world opens up its more satisfying to be more of a completionist, you'll unlock things that make the game far more enjoyable/easier that way. If you bulldoze through it you'll miss out on allot. Last but not least the dlcs are truly awsome. Sign of the times in particular.

Don't worry about the plot too much right now. With all the jump cuts between the timelines, it can feel a bit overwhelming. It'll become a lot more cohesive after the intro section. Once it kicks off, the overall story is excellent. It's the best part of the game. Looking forward to seeing you experience it for the first time. Also, I hope you are ready for a lot of audio editing. The game soundtrack is an absolute banger!
