Another good video. You have a nice presentation style; you speak well and present the information in logical order. You would make a good teacher. Thank you for your time and effort in maintaining this KZbin channel, and sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

This was an excellent video Pat, you do such an amazing job of explaining how things work! The fact that you can do this so well speaks numbers on just how brilliant you really are man! Always love the used ones that come in, they always make our day interesting. Trying to make videos is so challenging because it makes something that should be 5 minutes end up being 15-20 minutes, but it's always nice when we can knock it out. You're content is always worth it though brother! Hope all is well, keep up the good fight man! Thanks for this video, looking forward to seeing you knock out some more when time permits!

No need to apologize about the perceived (by the rare few) infrequent uploading of new videos. Your videos show excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. If some people want frequent C- material instead of A+ work, maybe they should stick to watching ChrisFix.

Good theory based diagnostics . What's impressive is all the next gen techs doin vids at work while possibly flat rate . Keep it up brother
@VoltageDropDiagnostics4 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I think that its cool that flat rate guys are taking the time to help the industry as well. I generally need to stay late, or come in early to film if I know that a good diagnostic job is being towed to the shop or whatnot. That way it doesn't interfere too much with my job.

How is the Altel scope
@VoltageDropDiagnostics4 жыл бұрын
I made a video comparing it to a snap on scope and my pico. is it as good as a pico? No. BUT it’s like $350 compared to a pico that’s like $2,000. and it does 90% of what a pico does.

FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE WHATS THE ONE AND ONLY TOYOTA ENGINE YOUD WANT LONG TERM

The 1gr-fe hands down. That’s the 4.0 liter in the 4runners. That power train might be the best ever made.

@@VoltageDropDiagnostics Any thoughts about the 2GR-FKS in the newer Lexus and Highlanders? Understand it's an Atkinson variation on the 2GR-FE, but that means a power trade-off....
@VoltageDropDiagnostics4 жыл бұрын
DIY Dave as of right now. I don’t like that engine. We have seen a lot of valve guide failures. As well as direct injector failures with far too low of mileage.
@DIYDaveOK4 жыл бұрын
@@VoltageDropDiagnostics That's awesome info. We've got two cars with the 2GR-FE and they've been great, but I've been wary of the FKS because I knew it was GDI and hadn't been around very long...
