My paternal great grandparents had a store on Lincoln! The street number was 528. The building is gone now, though. They had the store in the late 1800's and into the 20th century. Their name was Edmond and Anna (Beaudry) Bourgeois. I have distant cousins that own Bouvier Pharmacy on the same street. You just showed the area! It seems like my father's whole family lived in the French Hill area.

I remember all! Bert's was on the corner of Lincoln and Mechanic, The Highland is now a parking lot for the Reni Lofts, and the Cozy Cafe! Thank you SO much for the trip down memory lane (aka Lincoln Street)! But, do you remember the Happy Hollow? - it was on corner of Lincoln and Mechanic, where Marlborough Seafood was!

Good to see the Prospector still there. Great burgers and beer in 1980's. Is the Stevens st. basketball court gone?

You went to those places? I watched the '80 USA Olympic Hockey team win a game at the Highland house. What about the old Train Station that used to be at the corner of Lincoln and Mechanic?

2:15 You ran a red light. What kind of car are you driving? I grew up in Marlboro. Don't know any of the places you mentioned, but then that wasn't my neighborhood.
