Linda apparently released only two 45s, this one and “Last Train To Clarksville” / “I Wanna Be Free” on Tower.
Ian Whitcomb released his own version of “The End” on Tower in 1965. He had a US hit as a recording artist with “You Turn Me On (Turn On Song)”, also in 1965. “The End” was also recorded by Johnny Walsh on Columbia.
