I get it. I was about 20 when Saturday night fever came out. I used to put it on and dance in front of my full length mirror so excited to be going to a disco that night. “How can you mend a broken heart” came out when I was about 13.. Fanny be Tender “ is my favorite. Although I never been knew that’s what they were saying! Lol only years later I looked on YT for that song and then knew ! Guilty…with Streisand… I remember sitting in the parking lot of my home, in my 1974 big Buick, with an amazing radio (yeah it was), and the song came on, I turned up the sound and just sat there taking it all in. Their music spanned my preteens into my adult years. I put on their music f I want to clean my house…it always brings back memories to a happy time in my life. They are just the best..

Fanny (Be Tender with my Love) is my current favorite Bee Gee's song. They never gave up even when changing tastes and unfair attacks and labels tried to take them down. They kept going, kept reinventing themselves. But it's their songwriting achievements that stand as probably the best of all time... I believe the Bee Gee's should be held in the highest regard as musicians and songwriters at the very top of the pyramid standing right there besides the Beatles and any other iconic band of the 20th and 21st centuries.

I truely enjoyed this video about my favorite musicians, which happened to be brothers. I didn't really know them until after the twins had passed. I heard the music from Saturday Night Live, and enjoyed that very much, but I was a new wife and later mother that kept me busy and a totally different lifestyle. I was browsing through my tablet a few months ago, and there they were. Everything changed. I fell for this fantastic trio of men. I started watching all the videos I could find and now I have just watched yours. Thank you so much for the clarity in this presentation on the Gibbs. There are much to many excellent songs of them to pick out only one. But as a 14 year old boy, I'll never forget the first time, I heard 'To Love Somebody' in German Beat Club 1968. Got me at once so it's been like thunder and lightning deep inside myself. And excactly that song is also their most covered one, making artists like Bono, Stephen Stills or Noel Gallagher green with envy. Stephen said "why didn't I write that beautiful track".

I’m not a huge die hard fan. I was listening to Rock during the Disco revaluation, like Black Sabbath and Zeppelin. I do have mad respect for the Bee Geestho and I like a few of their songs. I am always interested in any kind of music. I ‘ve listened to their music and watched their biographies I am farfroma super fan. The thing about them I like best is the way they treat the people around them. From the gardener, toa fellow musician they treat everyone the same way with kindness and respect and always have. Tome that’s what makes music superstars when they still remember the people who got them where they are.

We were 19 and hitching from The Gold Coast to Beenleigh to see Australia’s top group - The Twilights. At the end they hit on us, and invited 3 of us to smoke dope and stay the night. I was tired and wanted to hitch home with my 3 friends. But Glenn Shorrock was so funny I decided to go to Brisbane with them instead. I’ve never been a groupie so slept alone. Next day the group drove us back to Gold Coast. The police were waiting for us. The 3 flat mates that I wanted to go with, were all dead🥲🥲🥲 they hitched a drunk driver who killed them all🥲🥲🥲 it was a nightmare. So it was the first time I’d heard the song and fell in ❤️ with it! Always in my heart❤️❤️🥲

That sure must have been a very memorable moment. They've been married for 54 years and lived together for 3 years before their marriage. Barry said he had to fly to NYC the next day after meeting Linda. As soon as he got in his hotel room he told his manager he had to return to England right then to go back and find the woman he was going to spend the rest of his life with. It's shocking to hear that Maurice pulled a gun on his wife. Yikes! I'm not sure if I could ever trust him again. My father was, and older brother is an alcoholic, but neither one has ever become violent. That would freak the hell out of me. I would do anything to protect my children. And even though Maurice was under the influence, I would still have to give thought as to letting him around the children again. I'm glad it worked out for them.
