Linda Hamilton is promoting Terminator 2 on the Arsenio Hall show. From an old VHS tape I was about to toss out and thought maybe some fans might want to see this. Sorry the video quality is going to hell after 25 years. More rare Terminator 2 stuff I recorded is coming soon so subscribe!.

@G.A.P. Metal Punk That would have been awesome!! Imagine a Terminator film where aliens land and the machines team up with humanity to kill them! Skynet would be like "You humans are fucking annoying but at least you're from earth!" Then afterwards there's alien corpses all over the place and T1000s are still kicking the shit out of the bodies for hours just incase.

It's feels almost like an intimate interview. Arsenio lets her talk and the audience is really listening. He always seems more interested in connecting on some level with his guest and he'll be playful if the moment calls for it. Today maybe someone like Jimmy Kimmel will interrupt them to get a joke in while they're saying something interesting multiple times. So it becomes more about him, the guest is just there to springboard jokes off of.

Linda Hamilton's extreme dedication to her role in the James Cameron directed Terminator films is truly incredible. Makes Emilia Clarke's reprisal of the Sarah Connor role in Genisys that Linda made iconic seem almost comical, as if you could almost hear her wince that she almost broke a fingernail after the director yelled "CUT!!"

10:15 exactly, everyone wondering why the terminators don’t work anymore, the truth is what Linda said, there’s nothing more to say, now obviously movies are made to make money but in the true sense all the Terminator movies that came after Judgment day were just cash grabs they didn’t have “something to say” like the first 2 hence their failure

Linda Hamilton was beyond incredible in this film. Juxtaposed with Sarah in the first movie, how did she not get an award for her role? Maybe she did though I've been looking. Her male-beating female character was probably the only one I've ever seen which didn't require any further imagination, totally compelling. It just goes to show that having a slim build woman kicking guys arses is possible, you just have to live and breathe that shit like she did. Would have loved to see her development behind the scenes too. Great work!

Linda's Sarah Connor is more badass, I think, because she gets hurt and looks grubby, whereas Angelina's Lara tends to look like she's just stepped out of a salon, which is obviously because of the type of video game universe she is in. Modern Lara is more realistic, also as far as the body type is concerned. Linda's Sarah was gritty for the time, and her strong body looked more convincing for someone who's a fighter.

She chose to come back for T6 because James Cameron convinced her and she liked the concepts. Like Dark Fate or not but everyone involved was trying to make a good movie.

Ironically, her ideas for the potential sequel would have made Dark Fate not suck (no Arnold, no digitization).

What she said about not agreeing with Arnold being a terminator is something I've always felt. As powerful as terminators are, and needing to blend in with humans, there is no need for such a bulky, fleshy body cast over the terminator skeleton.

As an identical twin myself I kind of rolled my eyes when he asked her if she and her sister have mental telepathy lol. I have lost count of how many times I've been asked that question lol. I feel for Linda now that her sister has passed.

I remember watching this when it aired. Watching it now, wow, Arsenio really sucks. Also he had all three lead stars of T2 on his show that summer, but Robert Patrick only got the tail end of one episode, less than 5 minutes :(
