Starting to read Aaron Neville's memoir, Tell it Like it Is, and he talks about how nervous he was. Also that he nearly tripped on the wires on the floor as he was walking out. Now, that's what you call a duet. Nothing's perfect they say, well, they're wrong. This was perfection. Her duet with Smokey Robinson was as well. Love the chemistry and her smile while singing. Back in the day most artists knew what a duet meant. I came across a concert of hers from the 80's on PBS, that's what brought me to KZbin. I didn't know Linda Ronstadt did this song with Aaron until I watched the Kennedy Center Honors. So I looked it up here on youtube, all I can say is wow! Incredible chemistry. Great song. You can tell they genuinely love one another even if it's just as friends. What a beautiful thing.

Aaron Neville has such a unique voice, he's amazing. Linda Ronstadt has been one of my favorite female vocalist since the '80's and their voices together are a perfect blend. Brilliant job by songwriter's Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil and Tom Snow.
