I'm glad you're not having to use oxygen during the day and that your cough is completely gone. That's good news! I have a question though.... it is concerning to me that the scans you've had since starting enzymes show no improvement in the scarring. Serrapeptase and Nattokinase are marketed to digest fibrin and the research indicates this to be true. I've been taking the enzymes religiously for about 2 months hoping they will reduce the scar tissue in my lungs, so I feel discouraged that your scans showed no improvement. I wonder why your scans showed no improvement, yet your cough is gone and you're now using supplemental oxygen less? Do you regularly test your oxygen levels? If so, have your levels improved during exertion at all? I carry an oximeter around with me and test regularly, especially if I feel I'm struggling to catch my breath during activity.

I would like to know if you're still taking the serrapeptase and the nattokinase. If so, have you seen any improvement in lung function? How many capsules of the serrapeptase and the nattokinase do you take daily?

One of the best books I own on the subject is "Everything you need to know about Enzymes" by Tom Bohager. Very well written. Easy to understand and apply.

Introduction The video features Linda, a 64-year old woman diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis over 10 years ago. She shares her story of living with the condition, including her journey to diagnosis, her severe symptoms like a relentless cough, and her discovery of systemic enzyme therapy which has dramatically improved her quality of life. Key Points - Linda first started having a dry, persistent cough in the late 1990s that progressed to be year-round and severely impacted her ability to work and sleep. She saw many specialists but nothing helped besides steroids. - In 2006 a doctor mentioned pulmonary fibrosis but did no further testing. In 2010 Linda finally received an official pulmonary fibrosis diagnosis after a scan showed significant lung damage. Her oxygen level was dangerously low at 43%. - Doctors predicted she only had 2 years left before needing a transplant or death. She was put on high-dose steroids and oxygen 24/7. This had little impact so she slowly went off the medications. - Through her own research Linda found information on systemic enzyme therapy. She learned enzymes could help lung conditions by breaking down scar tissue and reducing inflammation. They also benefit cardiovascular health. - Within a month of starting enzymes, Linda was able to significantly reduce her oxygen. She also noticed a complete resolution of her cough. - Scans show no reversal of lung damage, but subjectively Linda feels dramatically better. She has seen improvements in oxygenation with deep breathing. She uses oxygen only when sleeping or exercising now. - After 10+ years on enzymes Linda remains flare-up free. She takes no other medications at 66 years old and lives an active lifestyle. She credits systemic enzymes for enabling her health and quality of life. Additional Discussion & Conclusions - Commenters share positive experiences with enzymes improving oxygen saturation and ask about Linda’s enzyme regimen for specifics. - Some express disappointment that CT scans show no change as enzymes should break down scar tissue. Linda clarifies the damage remains but she has subjective improvement allowing her to be active. - Overall enzymes seem to provide symptomatic relief, reduce inflammation and need for oxygen, and enable an improved quality of life - but do not appear to reverse existing lung damage based on Linda’s experience. - Subjective quality of life improvements may come through reduced inflammation versus scar tissue breakdown. More research is still needed. Conclusion While not a cure, Linda credits systemic enzyme therapy with dramatically improving her quality of life by eliminating her severe cough and reducing supplemental oxygen needs. Enzymes helped resolve disabling symptoms that medications could not touch. Her story offers hope to others suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. More research is still needed, but enzymes show promise for symptomatic relief.

What enzymes are you taking? I’ve been taking nattokinase and serrapeptase, but only once a day in the morning, it’s hard to have an empty stomach

I’ve looked this up and they are a type of enzymatic spray orally or topically. Do you take it? Because hard to know if it actually works.😊
