Fantastic explanation, and even better motivation to start the talk! Well done.

29:47 with the exception that there are different libraries in python you can use. You could adjust marplotlib to be in ggplot style, or you can use ggplot for python - made by the people at yhat. But for the rest great talk! Nice presentation lay-out really curios to know how that was done. Nice clean look!

Random forests should be easy to parallelize with any of those R packages. The trees are by construction independent because of the bootstrapping so you could run 2, 3 or even 4 threads simultaneously, even with that old laptop, and then aggregate them.

Excellent, but EMI is as pronounced as EMI as per the Sex Pistols song not Emi. But interesting as I am struggling to learn R in Studio, from C# background. Its very powerful for data processing, but rather light in software robustness. So I don't want to be confused by Python at the same time. But I guess so. Lots of great libraries everywhere.
