It's interesting watching you work and listening to your process. There were many times where I thought it looked great and I would have ended it and been happy, but it's about you and glad you were happy in the end.

Thank you for your kind comment. That's actually what I always say to students. Yes you can study the technical things about painting but in the end you should strive to make work that is exciting and interesting to you. And our own tastes might evolve and that means the work we create will evolve. I used to paint representationally now I want to express things that a painting of a flower maybe can't.
