I’m going to try your tips to see if my hair will grow as fast as yours. I also do my own retwist but I always have issues w/ my edges becoming lose and not locing fully. Unfortunately because Of my texture and the sweating that I do with workouts palm rolling doesn’t stay for my retwists. I started and maintain with interlocking. I have grown accustomed to frizz and puffy roots since this quarantine. Looking forward to my interlock touch up

Ehhh definitely depends like how hard I work out. What styles I do. If it’s tied down when it gets wet, how often I wash it. So 1-2 weeks but I can stretch to 3 just not fresh looking
