Saw Mahogany Rush at Diamond Head crater festival in '76. Best live guitar display I've ever seen. Being 30 feet from stage helped alot. Also, Paul Harwood and Jimmy Ayoub were excellent. Awesome!

One of the best MR songs ever. blues , jazz and rock fusion mixed together in a great smooth package

I just can't understand why this music never had the chance to resonate with millions of people. It's simply so superior to most of the rock we were getting deluged with in the 70s and 80s. The record company really did Frank and the listening public a disservice by failing to connect the two entities in a way that would have been beneficial to both. Frank was just incredibly creative back then, producing so much great music, not to mention superior guitar playing.

The music industry should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting and promoting the musical genuis that is Frank Marino and keeping his music from us. He would not let them exploit him. He is a true artist.

Yes both frank Marino and Shawn lane. Shawn should’ve been recognized in black oak Arkansas. Guitar player never mentioned Shawn. By the time I heard of shawn lane was he was dead. Buckethead mentioned Shawn lane in guitar player 2000s was all needed but he was dead. Imagine frank Marino screaming melody to backing track ‘Once upon a time in the west’ Ennio morricone. piercing the ears beauty, melt

Good heavens!! Have you ever heard a rock ballad so complete, so sublime? Thank you, Frank Marino, Jimmy Ayoub and Paul Harwood. But especially, Frank marino, the dreamer, composer and arranger. How odd and untoward -- that timing, luck and happenstance would leave such a musical genius so utterly under-appreciated. God bless, Frank!

A neighbor was listening to MR oneday way back in 78 when I was 15. I loved it. I went out & bought every 8 track I could find. Today they’ve all been replaced by cd’s which I listen to often & every time I do someone always ask me who’s that?! I have never saw him live but had tickets to see him at Rams Head in Balto MD that was cancelled because of Covid. 😢 How disappointing. I wish they would have played more MH on the radio back then because they would have had s much bigger following.

My all time favorite Frank Marino song. The lyrics soar with the guitar, as well as weep. I see outside that it's begun to rain . . . and out pours his tears through that weeping and soaring guitar solo, to a resurrection in joy and peace to close out the song. I want that song played at my funeral.

Makes me miss Hendrix as much as it makes me miss Frank Marino. Two stellar talents, one of whom became too famous too fast and another who never got the credit he deserved for his immense talent. Just thought of something funny, BTW: Radiohead's 'Optimistic' ends almost the same way this tune does. Any secret Mahogany Rush fans in that group? Thanks for posting. Great tune.

Goodbye Frank, sorry you have left the stage, for the last time. I hope you get to enjoy life, do some things you didn't have time for before now. "Go fishing!" Canada has some beautiful places to go to. Personally, I enjoy fishing and I recommend it. You get in touch with the Creator, sitting on the bank, or in a boat. Breath clean air and enjoy your surroundings. You might even catch a fish! But if not, who cares!!

A little underrated? He’ll always be #1 in my book. I think he knows he’s great & doesn’t need the accolades other musicians do. He’s more worried about his art & fans then he is about pleasing a record label. And that’s what I love about him, other than his awesome voice & guitar playing. I am so glad he’s still touring.
