Share the tea?! I meant spill the tea (I think) - I obviously don’t know how to do drama 🤣 Let me know if you journal about these topics in your journal. What’s your latest episode of stationery drama?!?

I’m gonna have multiple comments as I go along your video 😂😂 I love your handwriting!! It even fits the aesthetic of your passport TN setup lol. And you’re right about the company, I feel like their focus is on celebrating the ways that people use the products, and how it’s special - instead of trying to sell you all of them. This is one reason why I love Japanese stationery companies including Plotter. They attach a special element to it.

@@stationery.shenanigans actually a tn themed tn insert sounds so good 😊 go for it!!! I think it’s a different way to memory keep, on a particular sub topic or theme rather than daily log. You don’t even have to document in chronological order - it’s just whenever you want to add an entry. I find sometimes I want to write about past event or feeling… it can be sort of random!

I clicked because I was curious about the dramas haha. I have a moonman pen that is a dupe for the pilot vanishing point and it is actually amazing for the price. It's actually one of my fave pen this year. Resellers wise - I am okay with them if the price isn't too extraorbitant. I understand that it takes effort for them to get them and they charge extra, but if it's marked up 2-3x like the road trip TN set, then that is definitely scummy. It's so interesting that you have a journal about these stationery thoughts. Thanks for sharing this journal with us, It almost feel like a stationery history lesson and I really enjoyed listening in.

@@marcsmellow aweee thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. Appreciate it! It seems there are more dupes of vanishing point now, maybe the clicker type fountain pens are trending!

I agree with you! I think the reseller issue is a double edged sword. I saw that the recent Traveler’s Company Caravan USA Road Trip Limited Edition items caused a stir. People purchased the items at the event and are reselling for hundreds of dollars above the retail price. Unfortunately when they produce “limited” items people will resell for profit. I feel Traveler’s Company should make it more readily available to everyone and that might help alleviate the situation.

@@moodles69 It can definitely be a problem with limited products but I also suspect there is probably an economic reason why there are limited runs… it’s pretty crazy how high the prices can go, though I don’t know who buys at those prices!

Don't know why it took me so long to find your channel here but I'm glad I did. I like how you write the thoughts about the Stationery world. I have similar similar thoughts but never thought of writing them down. I used to When when I saw someone rub the foiling off the Tokyo cover because they didn't like it and able to let that fomo up go. My mother lives in the pacific northwest And truth be told if she did live in the Seattle area I would have asked her to go to it to see if she could have gotten me the inserts.I think the inserts are more cool looking anyways then the covers that are just foiled printed. And that Viking sprial book looked cool. I might just try this. Then I can get the things that I like and don't like about ring binders off my hamster wheel in my brain. Looking forward watching your other videos. - Kat
