Wow, just wow. It’s getting me where I was trying to go when I was previously trying other channel strips be it UAD or even other bx plugs and achieving what the ear wants to hear w/ this Series 80 Neve; this is a big deal. It sounds really spectacular.

@@chiefyovany572 Yup. I use it for tracking to imprint my audio with that sonic signature/tone. It's an emulation, so you can use it any way that the real thing was used for. Keep in mind that once you record through any plugin, the audio will be permanently imprinted with that sound.

It’s really great. Nails the authentic drive color that my other plugins are only very basically approximating. Demo’d this, F and G...went with G bc was only $40 and sounds great. BUT, this is on drums/bass of a Pink Floyd cover we’re about to finish a little video of and it just had “that” sound.

Does turning the THD knob up do the same thing as turning the RED knob up with Unity on? Both just give the same saturation/harmonics, or is there some nuanced difference between the two methods of saturating?

hello, what's the signal flow of this thing. is it in order of the modules, or does the gate/expander come in before compression?

Great plugin, I use it daily. I just want to ask for a clarification on what is said in the video about calibration. As far as I know, a signal calibrated to -20 allows for more dynamic and more signal cleanliness less subject to saturation, compared to signals injected at -14 or -12. In the video it is said the opposite, is there anything I didn’t understand? Thanks to those who want to answer me.

Plugin has a bug. Settings or changes made to the channel strip & bus will reset back to default after closing and opening (any) sessions. This happen in NI Maschine 2.8.5 and Studio One 4 (latest update). Running Windows 10 64 bit

I really wish you'd try different musical genres when doing these videos - how about orchestral instruments, EDM stuff etc? Just a thought - we don't all do "band" music - whatever that band is

it works great on all but high tech - techno/goa ect. where NO saturation is the key to a clean sound… everything else it works on great! :)
