Lindos Walk - April 2018

A walk around the picturesque village of Lindos, Rhodes. A little less wobbly than my original 2014 video.
If anybody would like to offer suggestions for titles to pinpoint certain shops, restaurants etc feel free to leave a comment / timestamp in the comments below.

No worries. The old A Place In Greece episodes were a joy to go back through and rewatch / put together. Looking forward to hopefully filming a new Lindos video later in the year. Miss that place! 🇬🇷 ❤️

@@paulscarth Just an anecdote, when I was backpacking in Crete in 1972, there was a night time open air cinema near or on the beach in Iraklion and saw The Andromeda Strain under the stars!!! 🤗

A lovely walk through of this beautiful place. I was lucky that I first spent time here in 1975/1976 when there were hardly any tourists and as kids we had free run of the nearly empty streets, and collecting hand burning bread from the bakery at 06.00. Happy days. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for watching / taking the time to comment. Lindos is such a beautiful place that just draws you back year after year. I’d not discovered the island / village until the early 2000’s but it still draws me back whenever I get the chance. Need to get back out there and film an update / pluck up the courage to do some interviews with some of the locals.

Ey man I hope you read these comment, so I am a 14 year old that used to live in these place for 10 year and I haven't bin able to travel there since I left because now I live in Canada so please if you read these comment can you go back to lindos and post more vidoes like these, it would be a pleasure to me.

If you’ve not seen it already take a look at my latest trip - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX_Qd2SKZdiBf5Y Would love to get back out there in 2023 but not too sure yet. I often quickly film a walk around. It would be nice to really sit down and plan out a full walk around the village, highlight some businesses and maybe talk to some locals. It’s all in the planning.
