100 years ago, royals mostly married other royals. Nowadays, royal princesses don't have much luck with princes marrying commoners. I love your videos, but please, I don’t believe Princess Diana was ever engaged to Dodi al Fayed except in Mohammed al Fayed’s delusions. It’s insulting to her family. I’m not talking about the royal family (though her children do deserve the courtesy of having their mother’s last moments not be lies for public consumption), but her siblings and the extended Spencer family. I know I wouldn’t want a lie continuously repeated about my sister, aunt or mother just because a delusional opportunist who enjoyed collecting royal memorabilia said so. As someone with a degree in journalism who studied abroad and met others who cover European events, I would never repeat tabloid fodder, especially when it’s unnecessary to the story you’re telling. I know your research has to be better than that. And consider the Swedish tiara. It belonged to Empress Josephine because her granddaughter (also named Josephine) was Queen consort of Sweden. Maybe a fact that’s interesting would be better than a lie a lot of us are sick of hearing in a place it doesn’t belong.

@@matthewmacpherson5071 The Jonathan Dimbleby biography was basically written with Charles’ cooperation, and included interviews of with Charles. That is why it is more likely to be accurate. As both were single in the early 1970s, there is no reason for either to be coy about how and when they met. I have looked at other sources that suggest they were introduced in 1971 by Cruz, but Dimbleby’s biography suggests they were only going for months not over a year. It is possible it was 1971, but the romantic relationship seems to have started a bit later. Dimbleby refers to Charles being only 23, and that they were spending a lot of time together in late 1972. What are the odds of these women randomly meeting these royals? Seems almost manufactured...Great video as always!

@countessofravenclaw383 or have friends who happen to know royals to go hang out at a bar with!

I’m sure the places these girls hung out were upscale places (bars, parties and universities ) not hanging out at the dollar store waiting for a prince. 😂

Very interesting as usual, but I didn't like that you addressed the gossip about king Carl Gustav and his rumored mistresses. To be fair you should have equally mentioned Maria Teresa's bad behaviour at court and king Phillippe being gay.

You didn’t mention anything that Queen Camilla is involved in. She has many charities she backs.

15:06 OMG that moment, she is even making ME fall in love with those heart bubble lovey eyes. I'm sorry but that woman loves that man like to death and she will follow him to his grave
