This era of pop music was heavily centered around the paparazzi and how crazy it was driving these girls. Revisited all the issues Britney had with the paparazzi back in the day and her resulting breakdown, and Paris Hilton’s documentary made me want to come back to this video. It was really crazy back then. It seems like pop stars and celebrities these days have a little more distance between them and the cameras most of the time. Hope they realize how good they have it. Almost all of the girls I grew up idolizing are living very strange sad lives these days.

I know this is a little random but I saw this local rocker guy, who's also known as a sex offender, his own mom owning some crazy sh. I remember her telling me stuff like get over yourself... Bruh no u. & Him just being full of his weird arse stories. But I saw him liking a post about a young mom prob resenting not having a normal youth. And the kids just embarrassed. You sure have a lot of judgement knowing where I came from. Anyways, yeah, I've felt some guilt about my past. Not that I was ever malicious. Where stuff can apply, bc I tries to keep it real w/ self & non so hypocritical, always projecting type Bc if I had to deflect at least there's never anything wrong w/ me. Anywho anywho my oldest has never experienced any kind of that lifestyle around her bc I never actually lived it. No drugs, no random strangers. At worse, she saw me use ppl. & I have told her to not ever be like that. But I did what I had to do w/ very limited resources & I did it for her. To always be close to her. To afford going up against the spoiled who damn lie w/ the higher ups that will lie along w/ them. .. knowing damn well that addict ain't sh. And neither is his permafd mom. The only reason y my kids a brat now is well... Things just prob just look shiny, & I guess, at least it's available. If ppl wanted to do a comparison wever bs thing. But my kid never had disrespect for "it"... & Low key she knows. What she needs to regardless of how ppl paint anything. But I promise I'm getting back to lohan, lol. This is full circle. I still remember where I was the very moment this came on. I was 10 going on 11, it was maybe 6:50pm-ish I had just came back from daycare, turned on the TV, flipped to MTV Hits, finished watching the tail end of Destiny's Child's "Soldier" and was just glued to the TV screen when this came on, being amazed at the fact that Lindsay could sing so well.
