When I take bottles with liquids, I do the following which has saved me a few times: I bag each bottle individually in snack bags, then I put all those into a big bag which I then put into a 2nd bag. Before sealing the first big bag I put a handful of paper towels in the bag loosely. The paper towels are to soak up anything that might seep out, individual bags are so all my bottles don’t end up a hot mess if one seeps. It really doesn’t add much bulk or weight but it can save a huge headache. Have fun

I have been looking at this bag on Amazon for awhile now… I travel to Alaska 4 to 5 times a year to visit my kiddos and grandson. I jumped off the fence and ordered it today ❤. Now I can take my projects back and forth with easy access. Thank you for sharing this video!

It really is an amazing bag! It gets a little heavy when packed full but it would be great for shorter day trips as well.

I'm thinking about bringing Living Stones stuff. I think it would also go with the fall theme with the earthy tones and I can use the colors also with the retreat printables. Not sure yet. I think I'm like you...I will go through everything over and over again and then end up packing too much lol

Love this! Thank you so much for sharing. For your plastic bag with your spray bottle and mediums...I would put them in individual plastic bags and then put them all back in the bigger plastic bag. Question...do you have a link for the Mix Media notepad you use for your Tim Holtz ephemera...love that idea.

The bag worked out great. My luggage got left in a rainstorm on the tarmac so everything was drenched but the bag held together just fine.

How did you make your labels for your distress oxides.

They came from the Ranger website. They have a whole section with different labels for organizing your supplies and then I just printed on sticker paper.

Question. Which brand of removable dot adhesive do you use? Thanks

It’s just a standard “permanent” dot adhesive and I just use whatever Walmart has at the time. Doesn’t really make a difference as long as it’s dot adhesive. Even though it says permanent you can still remove the die cuts as long as you use minimal adhesive

Can you write over the distress oxide when they're dry?

Yes, I do try and avoid using one of the finer tip pens though since they can clog with just about any medium.

What is a bible retreat? Is it like a bible conference? I go to prophecy conferences, I never heard of a bible retreat.

A Bible Journaling Retreat is a way for women to come together and fellowship. We have time for worship, devotional study together, lots of time for creative worship and learning different techniques, and of course just enjoying the retreat grounds together.
