I wish I had seen more videos like these when I was in middle school. The first makeup product I bought was a Wet N Wild brow kid, and a Revlon Lip Butter. I did NOT know how to do my eyebrows, and the lip butter was the most unflattering shade of orange that ever existed. I've learned since then, but it's funny looking back at our first makeup routines.

All you really have to do is wear foundation like the Covergirl 3-in-1 or if you have dry spots, than simply just try a concealer. :)

I'm going into 9th grade this year but until 8th grade no one wore any makeup and if they did it was only some lip balm and a little mascara then in 8th grade some started to wear a little more like lipstick and concealer so if you're in middle school you should stay away from really dramatic makeup especially if you don't know how to do it properly :)

I'm in grade 8 now and i have friends that wear foundation powder and they go all out and they look perfectly fine and pretty so clearly they know how to put it on properly like I'm actually really good with makeup

at my school they do. like don't be a no it all and tell people what they should/ should not do with there face if there confident and comfortable let them be. two of my close friends wear foundation eyeliner powder smokey eye and they still look beautiful without it like clearly you went to a very immature school. my town is also ratchet and growing up where i live tends to happen much faster but still..

I'm in eighth grade and I have some acne and a lot of acne scarring. I used to wear BB cream, concealer and powder on my face, but I bought this foundation today and I love it! It doesn't seem incredibly cakey and it covers up a lot. I still use a bit of concealer but not as much. Great video! :)

I'm in 7th grade and not too too many people wear a lot of makeup but mascara and a little powder is what most people wear. I do some light shadow, tinted moisturizer, maybe a little blush (sometimes), mascara, and a little powder. It sounds like a lot but it actually looks really natural, but depending on the eyeshadow that's noticeable. I usually stick with browns and pinks. Hope that helped!

a really cheap and great foundation and concealer is fit me by maybelline it's so cheap and great there's even an oily skin type and dry skin type and I love the elf bronzer and blush it's really nice wet and wild has good eyeshadow palettes if you can't afford the urban decay

Kinda wished I waited to wear makeup in middle school, or just stuck to eye shadows only because it already looked like I was wearing makeup when I actually wasn't. So that's some advice for you youngsters! Unless you have breakouts then some concealer/foundation is alright. Don't cake it on! :)

Maybe if you don't take it off right, like if you are really rough and pull at your lashes when removing the mascara... Just get a good eye makeup remover, otherwise mascara doesn't ruin your lashes

The Revlon colorstay retractable crayon eyeliner is similar to the sigma one and can be found in drugstores, I got mine at walgreens:)

You might have to try something like the Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's more expensive, but it really works (I also have really oily eyelids). Tarte makes one that works for me as well.

If you think that you don't look good in it don't wear it, but I highly doubt that maybe you just need guidance on applying makeup. Just look up other middle school makeup bc this is a little much but just looks for something that suits you and that you feel confident with. But makes sure you know makeup is not for covering up just for enhancing because you are beautiful just the way you are.

In place of the naked basics palette you can get a loreal eyeshadow quad in cupa joe. It's very close to some of the colors and is only about 7 dollars! :)

My mum doesn't allow me to wear makeup to school except lip balm😂 (but I really no care cause nobody wears makeup to school and nobody really cares how they look like😂) I'm in year 7/grade 6, but next year I'm allowed to wear clear mascara and clear brow gel😱❤️❤️however I do have proper makeup like mascara, blush, eyeshadows and a highlight kit😁 which is allowed to wear on special occasions. I suggest a bb cream for middle schoolers! (Or a light foundation) Middle schoolers tend to have pretty nice skin, but I know I have a small bit of discoloration and redness and it just helps it to tone it down with out caking it on!

Sometimes it's just fun. Makeup isn't always about conforming to the society, sometimes it's a different format of self expression, same way an artist uses paint to create art and a dancer uses her body to dance. the purpose of makeup has evolved over the years. But if you're just using makeup to make yourself feel accepted, or just to make yourself more confident in this generation, I don't think makeup is the solution. It's something you have to find yourself with your bare hands. That escalated quickly.

Hard Candy has a 10 shadow palette for 5.97 at Walmart in Canada that strongly resembles Naked Palette. Only the shadows are not matte, they have a bi t of shimmer.

if you cant afford a naked palette you can buy a fake one that is the same thing for 5 dollars, also you can get a dupe by elf wich is really cheap and it has a great pigmentation. Hope this help you guys

an AMAZING drugstore doup for the naked basics pallett is the Sonia kashuk 12 Matte neutrals pallett. They are all SOOOOO pigmented and silky. I'm surprised it's not high end.

Don't worry, i've been there! when i was your age i had literally the same problem, youtube helped me a lot with tips! just focus on trying to clear your skin, i found the neutrogena range amazing, try that. Don't worry about wearing makeup as long as you remove it at night it's not too bad.You may feel like the odd one out now but in like a year literally everyone will be wearing makeup Keep the makeup natural and pretty soon the other girls will understand why you feel the need to wear it! :)

I started wearing consoler in grade 6. I'm in grade six now. I don't wear blush, (tiny but of bronzer), eyeshadow, eyeliner,primer, or fondation. I wear mascara, consoler, and powder. (A bit of lip Blum.) personally, I leave eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush and fondation and primer for special occasions look. Maybe for assemblys or special School trips (or dances or grad) that way people still haven't seen you in a full face and you can still get out of you everyday look.
