Interesting. If you listen closely, you can hear elements from all of the various renditions of the Halo theme, the guitar work of 2, the strings emphasis of 3 and of course the basic melody of 1, that goes without saying. Very impressive.

This is a great reminder of how amazing audio was on OG Xbox games. This era was the pinnacle of video game audio IMO. They made great use of 5.1 at the time since it was new to gaming. I was decoding it in THX Surround EX and man was that awesome. Soooo miss that experience. Even broke a window w/the low end on Mech Assault all the way on the other side of the house... lol

the piano screwed it up. Srsly, the theme was so awesome because it had it's focus on string instruments and drums, getting a piano in it killed the atmosphere of the song
