Awesome video! One question from a beginner, how do they get to the finals of all these..meet ups/competitions..I mean what are the parameters of qualifying? What are couples judged by? Excuse my faulty English, I hope I made my question clear despite the linguistic barrier.

There are usually prelims where they dance in an All Skate format (Like the first part of the comp where everyone dances at once) to a few songs (often 3 at different tempos), and the panel of judges will pick who they want to go through. This is often based on judges having a limited number of "yes" votes to assign to all couples in the prelim (Some comps allow judges to assign varying degrees of 'yeses', where something like a 1=Yes and a 2=maybe). Whichever couples get the most "yes" votes will go through. Hopefully that helps. Rules often vary for different events, so this description is meant to be fairly general. And I think your English is pretty good!!
